What is Microblading?
Microblading is a cosmetic that uses a blade-shaped tool with anywhere from 9-14 needles to create hair-like strokes while depositing pigment into your skin. Clients come to Arlani and look at microblading to get a fully shaded, realistic look that won’t wash off while you’re swimming.
I have thin hair/no hair, am I a good candidate for microblading?
Microblading is an excellent option for those who have thin, sparse eyebrows, as this procedure will add both definition and fullness to the brows. Arlani artists have the ability to make your brows look as natural or as bold as you would like!

How long does microblading last?
Microblading can last from 1-3 years, depending on your skin type. Some fading will occur as your microblading heals, and you should plan on a touchup every 6-12 months to keep your brows looking fresh.
What happens during your microblading appointment?
To begin, your artist will take you through a full consultation where they will ask about style, color, and shape. Remember to bring inspo images to show us what you like and dislike.
Following your consultation, your artist will apply a topical numbing cream and let it sit for about 30 minutes to prep your skin.
After a mapping process to create the perfect brow shape, your artist will begin the microblading procedure.
Don’t be alarmed if your color looks dark after your appointment. It will fade and soften in 10-12 days.
